Description:
The excursion starts from Lake Braies and take the path nr. 1 along the right bank of the lake, then to the north shore. From there it continues always in the direction of the High Street no. 1 going to the Hole of Giavo up to Biella Hut (2,320 m) on the right of the refuge of the challenging climb to the summit of Croda del Becco (2,810 m), for which you must have a firm step, and you should not suffer dizziness. Once at the top you have a beautiful view of the lake and the Valley of Braies, on all the important peaks of the Dolomites and the famous "Grossglockner" and "Großvenediger" that are part of the Alpine Arc. Return is possible for the path no. 1 or for sen-tiero nr. 23 passes for Val Forest.
