Malga Cavallo, 2212m

Description:
Starting dall'Asterbel down the street, turning after about 300m to the left the path and then cross the main road until you see the sources Maite. Crossing on the trail the lawn and into the woods and follow the path nr. 37 to the left passing through the mysterious forest to the sources. The route of about 1.5 km, called "the path of the springs", is easily accessible and leads to Jumper. From Ponticello take the path nr. 4, easy but steep, and you will come to the characteristic Malga Cavallo, which invites you to relax on the terrace in the sun. Surrounded by mountains in particular, it opens up a different world in the midst of many cows, sheep and horses. The hut is open from late June until late September and offers many good homemade delicacies.
Walking time ca. 3.5 hours (700 vertical meters).
